OUR MISSION
NTT/Verio, the hosting arm of NTT in Japan has made a strategic decision this year to start offering new video streaming services to their customers over its network. Moos Bulder, President of NTT/Verio Europe teamed up with Telemak for their first ever video streaming project. The end-customer was UEFA, the event was the tenth UEFA Cup final (Feyenoord vs. BV Borussia Dortmund) in Rotterdam on May 8th.
The objective of the project was to stream all hospitality activities of the 400 VIP's invited to the Cup Final. The Netman, Telemak's product for a complete wireless solution for high quality video streaming was used to conduct live interviews with the guests and broadcast these images on an internal LAN.
UEFA gave 100% support to Telemak and this pilot project. Furthermore the organisation is now assessing the possibility of adding streaming video content to their current uefa.com website. NTT/Verio were extremely satisfied with all the technical operations executed by Telemak for this project and have more plans to work together with Telemak in the near future within Europe.
