Telemak was asked to help with the live encounter between Zhang Yimou in Beijing and Maxim Vengerov in Wiesbaden. While Vengerov played the violin in this encounter, Zhang Yimou would write chinese calligraphy with his inner thoughts of he music. The result is an exclusive concert played live for 600 invitees from Gaultier around the world.
Apart from the wired duo, Telemak had also to encode the Manga Maker movie, develop the plugin detection and bandwidth detection systems, and host the entire website on the Akamai CDN. With millions of viewers from all over the world, Chance Encounters from Gaultier was and still is a success story for viral marketing and the combination of video and internet.
