Account Manager - Full Time

Your job

We are looking for a mature, dynamic and ambitious Account Manager with a passion for working within the streaming media technology industry, to add to our growing staff of highly qualified professionals. As an Account Manager in the Belgian office, you will work with the sales and marketing director to establish new accounts and grow existing accounts within four target markets in which streaming media is rapidly becoming a strategic communication tool:

  • Corporate communication (internal & external), financial, PR and marketing communication, e-learning
  • TV Media, Entertainment, (TV/Radio stations, Portals, ISP's, Web agencies)
  • IT, Telecom, ISP, Web agencies
  • Institutions (national & international) 

Your profile

You are an enthusiastic self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset. You have attained a higher education with preferred emphasis of study in Business, AV or ICT. Minimum of two-three years experience in direct sales within a B2B IT solutions market, the AV industry or on large vertical corporate accounts (relationship based repeat opportunities). Familiarity with television broadcasting, video production and streaming media is essential.

Required Skills and Abilities

  • Strong customer communication, relationship and negotiation skills with a good head for figures
  • A customer base of contacts in at least one of the target markets (Corporate, Media, ISP/Telecom)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Dutch, French and English
  • Knowledge of or ability to learn streaming media production process and market
  • Proven time-management and planning skills. Strong interpersonal and analytical skills
  • Must be an enthusiastic mature team player who takes initiative

Your tasks

  • Develop a sales plan, that defines potential prospects and sales actions (one-on-one meetings, exhibitions, seminars…) within the assigned territory & vertical markets
  • Cold call, contact and visit promising prospects, grow existing accounts, negotiate contracts
  • Write personalized proposals, in close collaboration with the Sales & Marketing director.
